Relief
The feeling that you have to work all of this out completely on your own is gone.
Household hiring, one-on-one
I'm Savannah. For ten years I've helped families hire the household help they actually need, and now I do that one-on-one. You get the strategy, the search, and someone in your corner after the hire. You hire your person directly and pay them directly, so there's no company margin sitting in the middle.
Breathe in… …and out.
Hey. I know exactly how overwhelming this feels right now. I've sat in this spot with dozens of families, and it does get easier from here.
The story
Over time, two solid families turned into twelve while I was getting my degree at Georgia State University.
Turns out I wasn't really watching kids most of the time. I was at the grocery store, unloading the dryer, walking the dog, organizing the linen closet. One of the moms I worked for, Amber, was the one who asked if I'd ever thought about turning this into an actual company.
Fast forward to 2016: Angel Assistance begins. I was 21, self funding on what was left of my college loans, and had to convince people twice my age that we were the solution for a stress-free home. I didn't even pick the name. Clients came home to a clean kitchen enough times that they started saying it themselves: "You're an Angel."
Eight years in, we rebranded to Hailo. Same team, same mission, just a better name and a cleaner look.
Earlier this year, I looked hard at the team model and admitted it wasn't the right fit anymore. I put my pride aside, gave my team directly to my clients so nobody lost income overnight, and paused to rebuild this the right way instead of the fast way.
Here's the part I didn't expect to learn about myself: I was never that good at the hustle that is a staffed company. I'm good at sitting at someone's kitchen table, hearing what's actually broken, and telling them exactly who to hire and how to make it stick.
That's Hailo now. Just me, doing that part.
The feeling that you have to work all of this out completely on your own is gone.
You're not just handed a fix. You learn how to run this, long after I've stopped checking in.
You're still the one driving. I'm just next to you with the directions when you need them.
The stages
Hailo works in three stages. Each one builds on the last, and you only pay for what you actually need.
$500
For when you're new to hiring household help, you're changing the kind of support you need, or you've tried this before and it didn't work.
I come to your house for an hour or two. We go through what's actually broken, what personality would fit your family, and what kind of system will hold up in your specific house.
Move into Stage 2 or 3 later and this session is already covered. You never pay for it twice.
Start here →15% of annual salaryMinimum $2,500
For when you have the strategy but you don't have the time to find the person.
I run the whole search and only bring you people worth your time.
If things change later, a second search is $1,500, and $1,000 for each one after that.
Find my match →10% of annual salaryMinimum $2,000, plus $198 a month
For when you want someone in your corner long after the hire is made, not a placement and a handshake goodbye.
We build the systems your household runs on together, and I stay reachable.
Not sure which one fits? Start with a conversation and we'll work it out together.
How it works
Four steps. You set the pace, and I handle the parts you'd rather not.
I visit your home. We talk through your current pain points, and I ask questions that you may or may not have thought of yet.
Together we write the job: the hours, the pay, the personality, and the action items needed to attract your household hire.
We source, screen, background check, and call references. You only meet the two or three people worth meeting.*
*-This is a process that aligns with FCRA regulations and will be a separate cost to services.
Onboarding, payroll, systems, and the awkward conversation you'd rather not have alone. That's what the partnership is for.
Why Hailo
100 households, 10+ years, and a very clear idea of what holds up in a household on a hard week.
You pay me once for the expertise. Then you hire and pay your household employee directly, usually at a better hourly rate than an agency would quote you.
I know what holds up in a real household and what quietly falls apart by month three.
You get me. Not an account rep, not a call center, not a rotating team that has to be briefed again every time something comes up.
This is consulting rather than staffing, so Hailo can serve anywhere in the US.
Success Stories
Savannah is such a lovely person. She is really dedicated to her job of helping families and we're so grateful for her. You cannot go wrong with using her service, and getting to know her as a person.
Straight answers
The Kitchen Table is $500 for an in-home session. The Match is 15% of your hire's annual salary, with a $2,500 minimum. The Hailo Home Partnership is 10% of annual salary with a $2,000 minimum, plus $198 a month. If you start with a session and move up later, that session is already covered.
Absolutely! Wherever you are in the US, I'd love to work with you. Hailo is now consulting rather than staffing, so The Kitchen Table session works just as well from Denver as it does from Decatur!
For Stage 2 and 3, the in-home visit is easiest around Atlanta (ITP and OTP). If you're 3+ hours away, there is a travel fee to cover getting there (flight and a board, if needed). I'll walk you through it before we book so you know exactly what to expect.
You do. You hire your household employee directly and pay them directly. That usually works out to a better hourly rate than an agency quotes, because there's no company margin sitting in between.
The Match comes with a 30 day guarantee. There tends to be about a 30 day acclimation period for any new hires in the home. If your first match turns out to not be a fit inside the first 30 days, I find you a backup candidate at no cost. After that, a second search is $1,500, and $1,000 for each one after.
Nannies, house managers, personal and household assistants, and the blended roles most families actually need. If you're not sure what to call it, that's exactly what The Kitchen Table is for.
I only take on a certain amount of households at a time and will notify you if I've reached my current capacity. Usually we will schedule our Kitchen Table session within 2 weeks. After that, you set the pace. Some families want someone in their home within weeks, and some just want the plan first. Once we start our partnership, I will send over due dates for each mile marker. These tend to be very flexible!
Your first step
Tell me a little about your home and what isn't working. There's no commitment in it, and no sales call waiting on the other side.
